This photographic archive is the result of years of dedicated work across the UAE, portraying everyday life in the desert, festive gatherings, camel auctions, and cultural practices in a vibrant and comprehensive collection. More than just documenting folklore, it seeks to reveal the humanity at the core of Bedouin heritage.
A central feature of this project is “Million Street,” documented through multiple extended visits to the Western Region since 2013. These photographs capture spontaneous celebrations and the lively atmosphere of camel beauty contests and other festivities at the Al Dhafra Festival.
Celebrated by the media and embraced by the public (see media page for details), this UAE heritage collection continues to evolve. It remains an ongoing endeavor, with new material added regularly from a substantial store of raw footage gathered over the years.
